Our afterschool program this spring (2025) is focused on the science and importance of fire. The program is based on the Fireworks Curriculum developed through the Missoula Fire Lab. Students will get hands-on supervised experience learning about fire. It is fun and highly interdisciplinary and students learn about properties of matter, chemical and physical processes, ecosystem fluctuations and cycles, habitat and survival, and human interactions with ecosystems.
Fireworks 2025
The Fireworks afterschool program at SNARL is geared towards 4th and 5th grade students and will run every Monday aftershool from March 10 to April 14 from 2:45 to 5:15. The program cost is $50 per student and we will provide transportation to and from Mammoth Elementary School.
