Seasonal Steward at Valentine Reserve
We are seeking to hire a steward to assist with operations at Valentine Reserve and SNARL. Duties include tasks in the following areas. The position is full time (40 hours per week) from hire date until the end of the season at Valentine Reserve – October 31, 2026. Rustic housing is provided onsite at Valentine Reserve. Main Job Duties:
Research and Education Support
- Provide orientation to researchers and classes
- Assist researchers and classes with needs
Facilities and Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain and clean facilities
- Maintain and service equipment
- Repair facilities and equipment
Resource Management
- Manage the roads, trails and habitats
- Trail maintenance
- Vegetation management
- Road maintenance
- Stream channel management
