The male Brewer’s Blackbird is an all black bird with bright yellow eyes and the female bird has a taupe all over coloration. They tend to live in urbanized and developed areas as well as grasslands, marshes, scrub, chaparral, and meadows. They mostly eat seeds but also will eat insects and other small animals even including frogs.
