Mourning Dove

While being the most frequently hunted species in the continent, Mourning Doves still remain as a low concern for conservation efforts due to their high reproductive rates. Mourning Doves are highly widespread and can be found in most habitats feeding on seeds in foraging on the ground. They have strong wingbeats and upon starting to fly you can hear a sharp whistle sound from their wings.
